Hey guys Im not sure on East course, but West was put in 2004…besides that wussup!
East course front nine first installed around 1986. The back nine was installed a few years later.
The front nine on the east course was installed around 1985 or 1986. The back nine was installed in 1988 or 1989.
Since the front 9 were installed in 85/86′ we’ll just use 86′ as the east side’s established date.
Thank you!
A walk through of the south course area is planned for October 21 after doubles. The foliage is thinning out so it’s time to start getting familiar with the woods again.
A potential design for the south course. This is a hybrid of many different design options. Please give us some feedback so we can see what needs improvement.
I couldn’t attach a file on the facebook page so here is a link to the group.—Bear

Some baskets were moved today (Nov 1st) on the west course in preparation of winter league. The new placements are 4A, 6A, 9A, 12A, 13A & 17A. 1 and 2 will be shortened once the damaged sleeves are replaced. Damaged sleeves will most likely be repaired or replaced within a couple of weeks.
A timeline has been established for the south course proposal.
Potential designs should be presented in detail at the December 4, 2012 meeting at the Olympic Tavern at 6:00pm. Forward potential designs to silvertip64@gmail.com if you have one for presentation & can’t attend the meeting. The monthly club meeting is on December 2, 2012 at 1:00pm. We can collect information at that time also.
The
best design or designs will then be forwarded to the RPD for review & the other organizations sharing Anna Page (equestrian & bicycle) will check for any conflicts with their trails.
RPD representatives will then orchestrate our proposal & then help present it to the RPD Board Commissioners on or after January 22, 2013.
Construction on the course can start immediately afterwards. The RPD has offered equipment & resources including a brush mower that cuts a 12′ x 12′ path that leaves the wood chips as a walk path. Fairways could go where we want them & would not be limited by dense brush. Two passes with the mower & we could have 24′ fairways or larger landing areas. Many of the dead trees & “widowmakers” would be removed for safety.
#18 across the road, aka “the tunnel shot”, is on the table for consideration. The club or sponsors may have to provide additional funding for signage to warn traffic entering the park of the potential risk. The RPD is also considering making the loop one way going counterclockwise in the future.
